Meet V1
We are incredibly excited to announce that the V1 release of Doorstep soft launched on 01/12/24!

Whilst Doorstep is now publicly available, we expect it only to be used by the Strategic Engagement team at in person events, and wider release comms & campaign will come with the V2 launch at the end of January.

Having undergone 3 rounds of testing, iterations and subsequent releases (MVP/Alpha/Beta), we have reached a truly significant milestone, with this being the first unmoderated, publicly-facing version of our community engagement platform.

Over the past 6-weeks, we have tested the Beta product with a controlled group of Family & Friends, NG, COSW, and Accenture colleagues to collate various sources of feedback.

This has helped drive specific technical, design and content updates, supporting the overall enhancement of the end-user experience for V1.

The V1 product is available for you to access now, via the following link www.doorstepcommunity.com
New and enhanced features
Some of the new features:

New Domain: Implementation of new www.doorstepcommunity.com domain

Download to Homescreen Nudge: Ability to download Doorstep to your mobile home screen with app icon so users can easily navigate back to project

Accessibility Updates: such as screenreader compatability, keyboard accessibility, & tabbing.

Analytics Dashboards: detailed interactions dashboards have been built to gain deep insight into how users are interacting with the site
New Content and Update Changes
We have worked closely with the Comms team to ensure the content is accurate in the run up to Beta launch. Changes we have made include:

Reordering sections: some features have moved onto different pages based on feedback, e.g. the view from shore is now on the My Basics page, whilst the wider benefits section is on the My Community Page.

Updated imagery with COSW images: we have updated images across the site to be COSW specific where possible, helping to make the site look more in line with COSW branding

Updated text copy throughout: based on feedback from the comms team, the text copy has been updated across the site e.g. FAQs updated and Our timeline text slimmed down and updated with the latest from Comms Team.

Hidden New Jersey Site: as we await the outcome of the New Jersey award decision, we have temporarily hidden the New Jersey version of the site from view.

When we hear the result of the award decision, we will be able to quickly update the copy and get the site up and running. Latest updates for events, social media & press releases.
What's next
Following our soft launch, our longitudinal sentiment study will begin next week targeting Brooklyn community members specifically.

V2 follow up release end of January which will incorporate COSW colors and logo throughout the tool.

V3 Implementation of Automated Spanish translations, enhanced timeline designs, and a jobs board.

Road mapping session with stakeholders to align on prioritization and future releases.

As always, please reach out with any thoughts or questions you may have!
